Tuesday.
I went to classes.
Made lunch.
Signed my contract for my summer/fall/spring apartment.
Went to Burger Stop.
Stopped at the Gateway.
Went to the Hellogoodbye Concert.

It was fantastic.
And the bands opening were AMAZING.

Happy Half Birthday :)

Kaity and I
both have our birthdays in August,
so February is our half birthday month.
So we decided to go eat out.

We talked about Chili's, Firehouse,
and a couple other places
but we decided on going to Center Street Grill.

Best decision of the day.

I had been craving a hamburger
and when we got there
there were many choices.
We asked the guy working
and he said to get the southwestern burger.

That includes:
a huge juicy patty,
pepperjack cheese,
guacamole,
tomato and lettuce,
and their specialty sauce.
It was SOOOOOOO good.

So we celebrated with burgers
and fries with fry sauce
not to forget the apple beer.
:)

Perfect Half Birthday.

Then I decided to go to an Aggie Basketball game
since I've never been to one
and this was the 2nd to last home game
before the WAC tournament in Las Vegas.

It was pretty fantastic.
And walking home through the foot of snow
that wasn't there when we went in
was also very entertaining with Shaun & Lesley.

The Young at Heart Know What I Mean

Today was just beautiful.

It's the middle of February
and being able to walk around outside
without freezing is just amazing.

Pretty much my life rocks right now,
last night was amazing.
Mardi Gras was SO fun!

Today was ward conference
which was really good
and we had a linger-longer with sloppy joes.

Then we finished off the day with
a fireside in the Spectrum
with an amazing talk by M. Russell Ballard.
Funny man.

"Go and ask a girl out on a date.
It's not that hard.
You're not pulling a handcart across the dessert or anything."

I just have the best people in my life.
I go to amazing concerts,
I sleepover with my best friends,
I dance for hours,
and I come home to my best friends everyday.

I even got a Valentine's Day package in the mail ;)

Basically I just wanted to sleep...
but Kaity made me go to Mardi Gras :)

Taylor let me raid her closet
and she also did my make-up.
What would I do without awesome roommates?

Mardi Gras rocked my world.
We just danced the entire night.
Got beads.
And danced some more.

Then we came home
and watched Moulin Rouge
with Shaun which ended at 4:30 am...
yeah apparently I will never get to sleep.

Friday Night: Sleepover

I went over to Sarah's
and we had lots of good girl talk :)
Then Kaity came over
and we watched Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist
which is arguably my favorite movie ever.

The next morning I woke up to Sarah saying,
"Waffles!"
Can I tell you how much it rocked?
Waffles with Raspberry Jam = Heaven.
After we played a little Just Dance 2
which we play all the time....I think that we're all addicted.

Kaity & I went out.
We got starbucks,
my hot chocolate cup,
and 4 new movies.

I was on the phone
while Reeve opened his mission call.
It sucked not being there,
but I got to hear him rip the envelope
and read his call!

He's going to Brazil :)

Toy Story [Star Wars] Mac and Cheese.
It's basically the greatest thing ever created.
Jessy, La, & I ate it
and then we had a movie night
until 3 am.
Yay for never sleeping.

This last week has been a hard one.

Life is not always easy.

But I was reminded of one of the reasons
that it is so worth it.
