Ski the Beav

Today I learned how to ski.
And FAILED.
It was super fun.
Up Logan Canyon up to Beaver Mountain
we went (Lauren, Heather, & I).
It was a gorgeous drive of course.
We got up there,
rented skis, and got ready to go.
So Seth is kind enough to help "teach me".
We get on the lift
which was a big step for me
since I'm super scared of heights.
We get up there and get off without dying.
Basically the rest of the night was spent
with people holding onto me so I don't fall,
me almost running into trees countless times,
and sitting in the snow laughing.
We kept crashing into people
which is fun especially when
four people end up in a dog pile
in the middle of the snow covered mountain.
So I just decided to go down by myself
which ended with me sliding to the bottom
of the hill on my face
with my skis getting knocked off
and landing next to my face.
Don't worry though,
I didn't die or anything
just hit the back of my head
with my skis multiple times.
(Yes, it's possible.
I have a bump to prove it.)
We had rented the lodge
so after we got sick of skiing
we went inside to enjoy chili,
rolls, creamy broccoli soup, and hot chocolate.
After we drove home
and enjoyed talking to Trevy,
made a stop to tell Sarah & Hunter
about our little skiing trip,
and got ice cream.
Overall, I'm going to have to think about skiing....
but thank you Seth for holding me up
for about an hour in the snow.
